Ex bf, trying to contact my gf! is he sincere or fake?

I think he is too. If he was over her he wouldn't be contacting her. I see it as his way of reminding her that he is still around. :/ Trust your girlfriend, but I don't think she needs to be talking to him. He disrespected her, and treated her poorly. She doesn't need someone like that in her life.
