Sorry but that is a long term relationship they have, if it took then a year and half to have sex yet they still talked that much, there is no way it is only about sex. While I don't at all understand why you would be ok with it even if it was just about sex, that's your business. But it's not just about sex they have a relationship, they share intimate details about their lives, he stares at pictures of her. If it was only about sex they would meet at shady motels and keep their private lives from each other. Sorry.
