Is there any way I can weasel out of doing community service?

My High School makes it mandatory to work community service for weeks. I get why they want that, don't get me wrong. But you know who doesn't want that? This guy. I don't hate people or anything, I just don't want to spend a couple of weeks helping some geriatric hag out of her extra large pampers. I'd be hard pressed to find anyone who does to be honest with you.
